The only Mid-Atlantic placement advocate

One intake to a funded trade job, and someone who speaks for you to the employer the whole way.

One advocate, working both sides at once

Resolve Network is the only Mid-Atlantic placement advocate that takes a justice-impacted person, a survivor or a low-income earner from one intake to a funded trade job or apprenticeship. The same advocate works with the candidate and with the employer, and speaks for them to the employer the whole way.

For adults who want steady, paid work

Resolve Network is for adults in Virginia, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey who want stable paid work or a paid apprenticeship in the trades: people who are justice-impacted, people on a low income, and survivors of intimate partner violence. Many have no device of their own, so the intake can be completed on their behalf.

Step one

One trauma-informed intake

A job seeker completes it, or their case manager, parole officer or shelter advocate does on their behalf. One intake, so there is one conversation to have rather than many.

Step two

An advocate who speaks for you

From there, one advocate works both sides at once. They work with the candidate, and they speak for them to the employer the whole way.

Step three

A funded trade job or apprenticeship

The aim is stable, paid work in the trades: a funded trade job, or a paid apprenticeship.

The candidate. Whoever acts on their behalf. The employer or school on the other side.

The candidate

Wants work that lasts

A justice-impacted adult, a low-income earner or a survivor of intimate partner violence who wants stable paid work or a paid apprenticeship in the trades, and who may not have a device of their own. Candidates never pay.

On their behalf

Someone beside them

A case manager, parole officer or shelter advocate can complete the intake for the candidate, so a person without a device of their own is not left out.

Employers and schools

The other side of the table

The advocate works with the employer or school too, and speaks for the candidate to them the whole way. At launch it is free for employers and schools as well.

At launch everything is free for employers and schools too. This founding period stands in for a trial, and no card is asked for.
